The Dripper - specialty coffee shop - is the project that proved once again that nothing is impossible. The implementation time was very short and everything went fast-forward. The successful result of the project is mainly due to the owners, who were involved and truly dedicated to the project and trusted us totally.

Located in the center of Oradea, Romania, this project brings forward the historical elements that we focused on, while outlining it's story. Vasile Alecsandri Street used to be called the Green Tree (coming from Hungarian Zöldfa Utca), as the back then inn (which today houses The Arcadia Theatre). We tried to convey this detail through the greenery strategically placed inside. At the same time we tried to highlight the story of the space and the building (the house belonged to the well-known architect Rendes Vilmos), through the specific elements of the Neo-Renaissance period (the window frames, as well as the mirror framed by the black wall, etc.).
Below are some images taken before the new design. Another detail that we considered in the story is the welcome message: “Come inside. It's warm and we have good coffee.” And, good coffee must be enjoyed in a warm, inviting atmosphere, and why not, sophisticated. Thus, we wanted to outline a concept that would combine these things. We wanted to create and elegant, warm place. Cozy, but not trivial. To convey a good vibe. To make you smile.
Following the chromatic details, one can see that all elements are connected, creating a whole.

PROIECT DE DESIGN INTERIOR: THE DRIPPER
Before / Inainte:
The Dripper, locul unde mulți orădeni obișnuiau să își savureze cafeaua, a fost un proiect de amenajare cafenea care a demonstrat încă o dată că ”nu există nu se poate”. Datorită timpului de implementare foarte scurt, totul a mers pe fast-forward. Iar reușita se datorează în primul rând proprietarilor, care s-au implicat activ, au fost trup și suflet dedicați proiectului și ne-au acordat încredere maximă, iar lucrul acesta se vede în rezultat.

Amplasat în centrul orașului Oradea, oraș în plină expansiune, spațiul aduce în prim plan elementele istorice care îi creează povestea. Strada Vasile Alecsandri purta în trecut numele de Arborele Verde (Zoldfa Utca), dupa Hanul cu acelasi nume, care găzduiește astăzi Teatrul Arcadia. Am încercat să transmitem acest detaliu prin plinul de ”verde” dinăuntru. În același timp am căutat să scoatem în evidență povestea spațiului și a clădirii (casa a aparținut cunoscutului arhitect Rendes Vilmos), prin elementele specifice perioadei neorenascentiste (ancadramentele ferestrelor, regăsite în interior și la oglinda accentuată de peretele negru, etc.)
Mai jos regăsiți câteva imagini făcute înainte de amenajare. Un alt detaliu care îmbracă povestea The Dripper este mesajul de întâmpinare: ”Come inside. It's warm and we have good coffee.” Și, cafeaua bună trebuie savurată într-o ambianță caldă, îmbietoare, de ce nu, sofisticată. Astfel, prin proiectul de design interior, am vrut să conturăm un concept care să îmbine aceste lucruri. Să fie elegant, dar nu rece. Cosy, dar nu banal. Să transmită un vibe bun. Să te facă să zambești.
